Weekly Wrangler

January 6th, 2023

~ Message from Ms. Triplett ~

Wrangler Families,

We had a wonderful start to 2023! We are anticipating a few more rainy days and would like to remind all our families to be extra safe at drop-off and pick-up and follow all staff directions. The month of January is filled with fun events and lots of activities! Be sure to read the remainder of this newsletter, as it contains important information on upcoming events, free tutoring and more!

Looking to next week, our 3rd - 5th grade Spelling Bee tryout will be on Wednesday during lunch. Students interested in participating should go to the MPR after they finish eating their lunch.

Happy Trails!

Ms. Triplett

2022-2023 Opt-In Communication for CVUSD Advisory Council/Committee Updates

In CVUSD, parent/guardian engagement and participation is a top priority! Participation is encouraged through many organizations and activities. Several CVUSD Advisory Councils/Committees that support parent/guardian participation are listed below, with the OPTION for you to select any or all to receive communications from the school’s identified parent/guardian representative and/or from school site administration. This communication would provide information and updates to you related to the Advisory Council/Committee meetings. Please select the Council(s)/Committee(s) that you would like to receive information and updates on, approximately monthly. If you have students at multiple school sites, please submit the form for each school. Additionally, if you opted-in last year, please plan to do so annually. Importantly, should you choose to opt-in to receiving these updates, the parent/guardian representative for the Advisory Council(s)/Committees(s) and/or the administration will not share your email address with others. You also have the ability to opt-out at any time in the event you no longer wish to receive the Advisory Council/Committee information.

If you would like to learn more about these Advisory Councils/Committees, or other ways to get involved at CVUSD, please go to: https://www.conejousd.org/domain/1365

If you have any questions in this regard, please contact name/email.

In order to minimize classroom interruptions, we have implemented procedures with forgotten items. We are receiving a large amount of deliveries for lunches, instruments, water bottles, library books, clothing and backpacks. Please encourage your students to be prepared and check for their belongings before leaving your house. We appreciate your support!

~ Lunches

Please note that lunches for grades 1-5 that are delivered to the school will be placed on the table outside of the cafeteria. Students should collect them from the table. They will not be delivered to the classroom.

~ Instruments

Forgotten Instruments will be kept in the front office. Students can come to the front to see if their parent has dropped it off.

~ Messages to students

If you need to get a message to your student during the day, please contact the teacher directly.
