Corron Mission Statement

Corron is a safe, warm and inviting community where all are valued and empowered. We celebrate growth. Clear evidence highlights the impact we have academically, socially and emotionally.

From the Principal

We are so excited to be welcoming our Corron families in for our first official “Open House” event next Monday, September 12th. Unlike our Curriculum Nights in the past, teachers will not be sharing any sort of presentation for parents. We will be inviting students and their parents to come during their assigned time to tour the building and show off their classrooms. Families will be given a “passport” so they can make sure they stop by all of the areas of the school. We are asking students with last names A-L to come from 6-6:30 and M-Z to come from 6:45-7:15 in order to avoid too much crowding.

We look forward to seeing everyone!

Library Volunteers Appreciated

Please consider sharing your time and talent to help assist our students while they visit our library. Our volunteers come in weekly to help students find books or information, shelve returned books, process new or weeded materials, decorate bulletin boards and displays, assist with copying, collating and cutting materials for the LRC, dust and organize bookshelves, or help with assorted projects that develop along the way!

We can use your help in a variety of ways and at a variety of times! We can accommodate most busy schedules and no experience is necessary.

If you would like to volunteer, email Karen McVicar at karen.mcvicar@d303.org. We look forward to working with you!
