ALL WEEK: Spirit of the Giving Tree 2015
This event is a great opportunity for the WPI community to make the holidays a special time for underprivileged children in Worcester. This year’s Spirit of the Giving Tree will benefit children from the Friendly House Shelter and children from Catholic Charities. Many children from both of these agencies live in less fortunate homes in which their parents struggle to make their holiday dreams come true.
To adopt a child, please come to the Student Activities Office on the 3rd floor of the Campus Center between Monday, November 9th and Friday, December 4th to choose the child you or your department/student organization will adopt. Children can be sponsored by an individual, organization, department, apartment, or chapter. Every person can make a difference.
When you choose your child you will take a detailed sheet with their preferences and requests to assist you in your holiday shopping for them.
On Monday, December 7th, between 8 am and 2pm, all participants will be able to drop off their adopted child’s gifts at the Campus Center stage.
Students looking to assist with gift collection and distribution on 12/7/15 can register for a time slot here: www.SignUpGenius.com/go/10C0C4FA8A722A6F49-spirit1
