Electric Blenders (for making paper)

Colored paper (cardstock, tissue paper, construction paper)

Legos (for mixed media construction)

K'nex (like legos for millennials used for mixed media construction)

Sewing machine in good condition

Embroidery string

Phone boxes ( We all have fancy phones these days and with those come overly fancy boxes, if you have any of these lying around your home, please consider donating. We use these boxes for decorative Cell phone containers)

Beads

Wire

Board games (for finals week when we all need a break)

Forks and rubber spatulas (ceramics)

Sheetrock or drywall scraps (we use these for clay tiles in Ceramics)

Thank you for considering a donation to the Sheldon Art Department!

Sincerely,

Amy Rose Albrecht

OSAC Appeal

Many students had technical issues or extenuating circumstances with the OSAC Scholarship Application and were not able to submit the application by the final March 6 deadline. Students are eligible to apply for an Appeal. All communication about their appeal will be conducted by email, so students need to check their email regularly for updates.

Requests for appeals are due no later than March 15, 2023, 11:59 pm. We will not accept any appeals after this deadline.

OSAC staff will review the Request for Appeal and send them an email with our decision. If a student is awarded an appeal, they will have 48 hours from the time we reopen their application to submit.

It is the student's responsibility to contact us during the 48 hours if they are still experiencing technical issues. Additional directions on how to re-access their application will be provided if they are granted an appeal.

For questions, please email walter.recinos@hecc.oregon.gov.

A Sheldon Community Responder would receive a text message indicating a need. If the Responder can provide the need, they respond to the text message and work with the SHS Coordinator to secure and deliver the item.
