NEWS FROM THE HEADS
Well the view on the what was the memorable event of the week will doubtless depend upon your viewpoint... for Year 8 it may have been receiving their HPV-1 immunisations, for the school generally the chance to wear one’s own clothes for Jeans for Genes, and for many others Speech Day.

This week Reception have been on a number walk around the School combining orientation and number recognition in a very creative way!

The nursery children have used face masks to act out the story of the “Little Red Hen”, explored wheat and flour and ate bread, used play dough to create loaves for their role play and have been learning the related song.

GR - G6 Harvest Festival
A letter has been emailed home inviting our Junior girls parents to next week's Harvest Festival and we would welcome any non-perishable items to be given to the class teacher in time for the harvest festival. All donations will be given to the local Maidenhead 'Salvation Army'. Thanking you in advance.
G4 Instrumental Project
Please can you return the reply slip regarding this by Monday 26 September. A letter has been emailed home.
G11 Academic Program Mailshot Prefect and Senior Prefects - extra privilege
Head Girl/Deputies/School Council Prefects: Please note that it will be a THURSDAY lunchtime that the girls will be allowed to walk up to the local Tesco Express to purchase food.
Other Senior Prefects: To be supervised by HOY Mrs Heywood and also Mrs Ruddick but on a FRIDAY lunchtime.
Pupil Personal Effects Insurance and Pupil Accident Insurance
A reminder to parents that all pupils (with the exception of nursery pupils for Personal Effects Insurance) are covered by your school fees. Full details of the cover provided is available on the Letters and Notices Page (General) page of the School website
Coaches
If you wish to book an ad hoc coach this can now be done and paid for online here 24 hours in advance.
Parking
Can we please remind all parents to respect our School neighbours. Please refrain from obstructing any driveways. Can we also request that whilst you wait you switch off your engines.

Year 3 LAMDA - girls have been asked to relate to their favourite book character in preparation for the next session.
Juniors Christmas Show
Auditions went well this week; making presenting learnt speeches is only a week - fabulous! Casting of the play will take place on Tuesday. Letter to follow next week.
SENIOR GIRLS
November Show Please can girls provide their own white frilly ankle socks, white blouse and black jazz shoes.

U16 Hockey v Reddam House, 1.45pm meet, match starts at Braywick at 2.30pm. Return to school at 4pm
U15 Tennis v Thornden School (Regional play-off), 2.30pm start at Bisham Abbey
