Miner Minutes
August 18, 2018
Welcome back, Miner Staff!
Monday: Welcome back breakfast starts at 8am; come early for a great seat! Thanks to our PTSO for providing this great start to our week! We are booked ALL day except for lunch on your own on this day. I know it will be a lot, but this gives you more YOU time on Tuesday and Wednesday, so keep the end goal in mind.
Tuesday: PLC day! We will provide an agenda to guide your work this day, and your scheduled PLC/department time is on the detailed schedule.
Wednesday: Delayed start at 10am due to open house - be sure to bring your new staff shirts and black bottoms for the staff picture and for open house. Please note that parking will be at a premium for the 866 families coming. Please park down at the athletic fields or behind the building. Also, we are encouraging all new students and 6th grade students to come the first hour, and everyone else in the 2nd hour.
Thursday and Friday: Uncapped days if you worked August 6-8. If you did not work those days, then these 2 days are capped to make up the info that was missed then. Thursday will be IB unit planning day for those that were not there, and Friday will be MTSS/PBIS day.

Dates are September 20, 27, October 4 and 11. 6:30-8:00pm McGill Baptist Church. Please see Ms. Farrell for more information, and let her know if you're interested!
