Applying for Jobs

Graduates can be discriminated upon as they have spent their whole education studying to achieve qualifications but when they are done with that and apply for jobs they get told that they are not experienced enough to do certain jobs.

One aspect of discrimination within a job interview could be religious and on BBC News they have an article that shows 2 white males, 1 of them a muslim in traditional clothing. They would go through Bristol applying for jobs and the non-muslim was four times more successful and getting replies or interviews.

There is height discrimination for example there used to be an average height that you would have to be to join the police force and in china they look to employ taller security as people feel safer around taller guards.
