Happy November!!
Giving Thanks-November 2021
🧡 🧡 🧡
Dear Makowski Families-
We are back to business here at Makowski. The children are busy and the classrooms are full of engaging activities and learning! Everyone is working together as we redefine our version of "normalcy". Which leads nicely into our next IB Unit of Inquiry-How the World Works. Our theme is teaching students how we as humans use our understanding of the natural world to improve our quality of life. Seeking balance in our lives everyday, and seeing how forces set things in motion is key for this unit of study. We continue to encourage our students to ask questions, take risks and try new things, think outside of the box, and solve problems.
As the holiday season approaches, we give thanks for parents -- like you -- who help keep that balance with us, as you give your hearts into doing for your children and for the collaboration and team work each and every day with the teachers and staff here at Makowski. We appreciate your patience and cooperation. We see you and we are grateful for you. Thank you for helping us all stay balanced.
Wishing you and your family a very Happy upcoming Thanksgiving!

Drop Off and Pick Up Reminders
PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CAR at the CURB. Your child's temperature will be taken at the curb in your car and escorted into the building.
If you feel the need to get out of the car you will need to park your car across the street at the Wiley lot and cross at the corner with the crossing guard.
DO NOT park on Jefferson on the opposite side of the road to cross the street. It is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. Please stop alongside the curb in the drop off line closest to the building.
Thank you again for all that you do. We appreciate your cooperation in working together with us during this time to keep you and your child safe!!
