HFRCS Newsletter March 22, 2022
SY2021-2022 - Vol.1 Issue 31
From the Principal's Office
Dear Parents and Guardians,
On Friday, report cards were issued for students in grades K-8. Please review your child’s report card carefully and direct any questions to their teacher. Your child’s grades are available for your review at any time through the electronic gradebook found in My Students Progress. If you do not have access to MSP or are having difficulty logging on, please contact Mrs. Mangapit (michelle.mangapit@hfrcs.org).
This Thursday, our 7th grade students will be participating in Universal Visitation Day at archdiocesan high schools. This day provides our 7th grade students with a “day in the life” of a high school student at Conwell-Egan Catholic High School, or any of our other archdiocesan high schools. Please wish our students well as they explore the next phase of their educational journey.
This month, our second-grade students received their First Reconciliation; Thursday, March 10 at Queen of the Universe Parish, and Saturday, March 19 at St. Frances Cabrini Parish. We want to congratulate them on this important milestone of their faith journey, and thank their teacher, Miss Weight, and the Directors of Religious Education, Sue Raffin (QU) and Jean Madden (SFC) for their instruction and guidance!
As we continue through the holy season of Lent, our students are observing the Lenten practices of prayer, fasting and works of charity. As a reminder, we are still collecting baby items for The Blessed Margaret Castello Home. Please see this newsletter for details. All items must be in by April 13.
This Friday we will be having a blue and yellow $1 dress down day to support Ukraine. All proceeds will be donated to Catholic Relief Services. Please continue to pray for all those impacted by the war in Ukraine.
Sincerely Yours in Christ,
Mrs. Haggerty

Yearbook Order!
You may place your Yearbook Order (School Year 2021-2022) through the month of March using this link. The cost of the yearbook is $30 each. Don't delay so you don't miss out on bringing home the memories of this school year! Books will be distributed in June for those who ordered.
Note: 8th graders will receive a yearbook as part of their graduation fee so there is no need to place an online order unless they need more than one copy.
If you missed out on ordering the yearbook for previous years, we have limited quantities available for purchase. If you are interested, please send in the payment, exact cash or check payable to HFRCS, in an envelope marked "Past Yearbook" to your homeroom teacher.
