A Peek at Our Week

Hello Families!

The weeks are flying by and before we know it Spring Break will be here! I am very much looking forward to speaking with you all during conferences this week and next. Thank you for taking a look at this week's newsletter for important information and reminders.

Reminder- 1:00 dismissal Tuesday & Wednesday!

Fundations and Word Study

Our class continues to explore long vowels! This week we are working on long o patterns as in snow, hope and boat. Be on the lookout for additional homework that helps your child recognize long vowel patters this week. Our trick words continue to help us grow stronger in our reading and writing so please make sure to practice them nightly!

Please send in any recycled materials for leprechaun traps by Wednesday!

What are we Reading?

We will be starting a new chapter book this week. It is so hard to decide on what it will be! I am thinking about having the kids pick their first choice- Stay tuned to find out if it will be Charlotte's Web, Matilda or Stewart Little!

Happy Reading!
