FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
SYMPTOMATIC STUDENTS SENT HOME BY THE NURSE
- In order for symptomatic students that were sent home by the school nurse to be able to return to school, these students must have a negative PCR test. Parents are encouraged to email these tests to the principal rather than sending in a hard copy. This allows the student to come back to school without worrying about being asked for paperwork.
CLOSE CONTACT RULES
- Parents/Guardians of students that are identified as close contacts will be called by the principal or school nurse.
- Mandatory Quarantine Period: While we remain in the moderate range, all close contacts must complete a 7-10 day quarantine period. (For parents who are willing to test their child on days 5, 6, or 7 after exposure, the student is eligible to return to school on Day 8 with a negative test result. For parents who prefer not to test, their child will have to complete a full 10 day quarantine.)
- All identified close contacts are eligible for virtual instruction.
- ALL COVID TEST RESULTS MUST BE SENT TO THE PRINCIPAL.
