HOW DO I FIND JOBS FOR ALUMNI ON HANDSHAKE?
- Click on the "Jobs" tab
- Underneath the search bars, click on "Filters." A menu will appear directly beneath.
- For Job Type, select "Job" and "Full-Time"
- Select the checkbox next to "Paid roles only"
- Click the little blue down arrow next to "All employer preferences match" (NOT the checkbox)
- Select the checkbox next to "School Year: Alumni"
- Feel free to add other filters that match with your specific job-search, such as Industry or Job Function. Please note that sometimes choosing too many filters will fail to pull results. If this happens, simply go back to your filters and select one to remove.
- You can save these filter settings by clicking the blue "Create Search Alert" button to the right of the job postings.

ACRT Services is hiring Roving Utility Foresters!
Our Rover field positions are ideal for professionals with an educational background in forestry, horticulture, arboriculture, environmental studies, conservation or related disciplines and seasoned professionals with experience in these fields and line of work. We also train so someone with a passion for working outdoors is also ideal. Roving Utility Foresters travel extensively to perform tree inspection, multiple contract set-up, and evaluation of utility
line systems. Rovers may also be first responders to storm situations such as hurricanes, tropical storms, outage work caused by fires, etc. This is your chance to be on the forefront of events that are shaping the industry!
***This position involves frequent and extensive statewide and/or national travel.
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently, strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in rugged terrain and inclement weather including smoke
- Ability to read and follow maps
- Valid Driver License with good driving record
- Must be 21 years of age
Desired Qualifications:
- Degree or experience in Forestry, Horticulture, Natural Resources or related fields
- Ability to identify local trees and knowledge of growth rates
Additional Information:
- Full Time position – Will work Tuesday – Sunday 10:00am – 8:30pm – Will be paid for overtime
- Roving Utility Foresters for this project will start out at $19/hr
