Developing student-focused pathways for a lifetime of opportunities through
innovation, exploration, and community partnerships.
Message from the Program Director
Hi CLA families,
At the start of each year, I find myself reflecting on the trials and triumphs of the previous year and how they have brought me to TODAY -- the character built, wisdom gained, memories made, and even the challenges left to tackle. As I look at our scholars I see the same -- a lot of character-building, wisdom gained, memories made, and even challenges yet to tackle. I am honored to partner with you in supporting, encouraging, and guiding your scholars in the new challenges of 2024 as we work toward fulfilling Every Student Graduate +. The best is yet to come!
Happy New Year!

Additional Supports
Academic Review
Every 3 weeks, CLA staff reviews scholar academic progress school-wide. We call this Academic Review. As we review the academic data, we look for ways to celebrate and to support our scholars. We also take this time to communicate with parents as needed. We encourage families to take notes of these dates as well. You can use these dates to celebrate and support your scholar too!
As part of this process, scholars in need of additional support, may be placed on an Academic Plan of Assistance, requiring daily on-campus attendance.
In the month of January, there will be no Academic Review with the 1st Semester ending on January 25th, 2024.
