Curriculum Highlights
The students are having a great time learning through all of our hands on apple themed activities! We are enjoying exploring all about life cycles, patterns, letter names and sounds, as well as how to communicate needs to others using a strong, respectful voice. The kids are doing such a great job continuing to follow all rules and procedures and we are so proud!
General Information
Woohoo! Thank you for sending your child to school in their house color on Wednesdays. The kids are so excited and proud to belong to their house and they love getting to participate in fun house themed activities throughout the year.
We have begun our beginning of year assessments. This gives us an idea of where each child is at and what areas we could best focus on. Remember this is simply a measure on where your child is starting, and shows us just how far they can grow!
A few of you have reached out regarding how to support their learning at home. Letter names, sounds, and numbers can all be practiced at home in fun ways. For example, magnetic letters for the fridge, playing I spy in the car, counting items at the grocery store, etc. All of these are such great ways to help your child learn and grow.
Please remember to keep these items in your child's bag at all times:
A change of clothes
Extra masks if chosen
A full water bottle
We provide snack daily so no food needed unless they are bringing lunch :)
Thank you!
Thank you all for the continued donations of Clorox wipes, snacks, and fun treats. We put these items to use daily and we are so appreciative that you all love to support our classrooms!
