Aunt Betty and Anesthesia
By: Sam Wilber
Beer's Law
the quantity of light absorbed by a substance dissolved in a fully transmitting solvent is directly proportional to the concentration of the substance and the path length of the light through the solution.
Aunt Betty
She had about 50% anesthesia in her solution so she died
What materials we used
We used a Colorimeter to find the concentration of each of our beakers. We used logger pro on our computers to calculate the concentration of each beaker. We found out that the higher concentration absorbs more light. The lower concentration absorbs less light.
