Joan of Arc's actual name was Jehanne d’Arc. She was born 1412 in Domremy, France and died May 30th 1431 in Rouen, France. Some people labeled her as a crazy 15 year with with a bad attitude, but others called her the Maid of Heaven.
Majority of Joan's lifetime she and her family lived as peasants in Domremy, France. Which was renamed as Doremy La Pucelle, which means "Domremy the Maid to honor Joan."

Joan of Arc is important because she an extraordinary girl. The uniqueness of Joan was she claimed God and his saints spoke to her through her vision. Due to the voices she heard she did remarkable things at such a young age, such as being the youngest person to command an army of a nation. Not only did she lead an army of men, but she also helped Charels VII become a king during the 100 Years War. She is a crucial piece to history.

-As a child he lived in a violent place. After his Father died many of his lords tried to murder him, twice for not being born into marriage. After that he became very independent and showed no mercy to anyone who revolted against him.

He shaped England's feudal system so kings and not the noble have supreme power. He also created survey in England to help the kings set up a central tax system. This became known as the Doomsday book.
