What's Ahead
We got this!
Here's some Tips/Reminders to survive with a smile:
*Remember your WHY
*start each day off with a smile and greeting every student at the door
*positively reinforce the behaviors you want to see
*stand and command
*stop, model, review, and practice expectations
*utilize Morning Meetings with intentional lessons EVERY day to support your classroom culture and students social-emotional needs
*Tap Out- ask a friend or call office for a break
*Remember, kids deserve respect too, even when they mess up. How do you like to be spoken to when you make a mistake?
*Maintain professionalism at ALL times- unless you wanna come into Webber's office and shut the door #freetherapy
*If you see or hear a fellow staff member feeling "stressed", step in and TAP them OUT.. Negativity or professionalism can be very damaging . In order to support our positive campus culture, we all have a responsibility to step in- "Hey, will you come see something over here?" "Why don't you go take a quick break? "How can I help you?" If you are really concerned about a teammate, please collaborate with Luft or Webber for support.
