Did you know there are 5 Classical Conversations communities in Thurston county?? This means there are 5 Foundations/Essential Programs and 11 Challenge Programs that serve 316 students!! And the craziest stat of all: averaging all the programs, they are 92% capacity!

Challenge Overview
Challenge A
- Drawing Asia with capitals too!
- Writing a research paper on Whales or Dolphons
- Reading "A Secret Garden"
Challenge B
- Finished their Science Fair Project - Congratulations!
- Analyzing witness statement in preparation for Mock Trial - rewriting them to increase understanding.
- Reading "Rikki-Tikki-Tavi" to understand the literary devices used as they develop their ideas for their own short stories.
Challenge I
- Reading "Born Again" by Chuck Colson - discussing Watergate
- Music Theory, "Introduction to Rhthym"
- Developing their Semester Research project. They get to choose their own topic!
Challenge II
- Reading "Something Beautiful For God", by Malcolm Muggeridge and discussing the value of Biography as a writing style
- Researching Worms
- Developing a Music History Notebook and researching the Classical Period
Protocol Event for Challenge I & II
Protocol is an event planned by the parents for Challenge I & II Students for the end of the semester. If you would like to be a part of the Parent Committee to plan this exciting evening for our students, contact Cathy Barbuto at cathyccchb@comcast.net.
