DECEMBER 2017 STAAR EOC ADMINISTRATION
• Additional Reports Ordering
Additional reports orders for the December 2017 administration can now be submitted through the STAAR Assessment Management System.
Orders for additional reports must be submitted by December 8, 2017. Orders placed after the deadline will be processed twice monthly and may incur additional processing fees.
To order additional reports, log in to the Assessment Management System. For information about standard and additional reports, refer to the Standard and Additional Reports document available at http://www.TexasAssessment.com/report-info/.
• Online Testing Information
Testing group rosters and student test tickets for the December 2017 administration are available for downloading and printing through Assessment Management System at https://TexasAssessment.com/STAAR/.
Download and Print Test Tickets
Testing group rosters list the students who will be testing in an online test administration, organized by group. Each student listed on the testing group roster must have a test ticket to access the test. Authorized campus staff should verify the Personal Needs and Preferences (PNP) embedded supports indicated on the testing group roster or on each student’s test ticket and make changes to student test registrations as necessary. Student test tickets should be printed before the test administration and must be kept in locked storage until the day of the test. Student test tickets must be destroyed after the completion of the test administration. Refer to the STAAR Assessment Management System User’s Guide available at https://www.TexasAssessment.com/technology/ for more information on downloading and printing testing group rosters and student test tickets.
Proctor Test Logins
Test administrators who assist students who are deaf or hard of hearing during an online oral/signed test administration may need a proctor test login. Proctor logins are available only for test administrators who are signing test content to students in need of reading support who are unable to access text-to-speech. District testing coordinators may download proctor logins from the Assessment Management System on the Reports > Online Testing tab. Refer to the Assessment Management System User’s Guide available at https://www.TexasAssessment.com/technology/ for more information on proctor logins.
Online Testing
Districts can also manage online testing and view information about test sessions and groups from the Assessment Management System. Refer to the Assessment Management System User’s Guide available at https://www.TexasAssessment.com/technology/ for more information about online testing.
Online Testing for OOD and OOS Students
Students who are registered to test at a participating test site as out-of-district (OOD) or out-of-school (OOS) testers will be reported to the home county district campus (CDC) indicated in the OOD/OOS registration. The testing campus can access the students’ test tickets in the test sessions under the group name “OOD-OOS.”
If a student is not registered as an OOD/OOS tester and arrives at your district to test online, and your district is willing to accommodate the student, please contact the Texas Assessment Support Center at 855-333-7770 or STAAREOC@ets.org for assistance in accessing the student’s test ticket.
Technical Support
The Texas Assessment Support Center will be providing extended hours of support from November 27 through December 8, 2017. Customer service representatives will be available to assist districts Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. (CT) during this period.
For questions or assistance regarding the information in this communication, contact the Texas Assessment Support Center at 855-333-7770 or STAAREOC@ets.org.
