- Any student who walks into the school after the 7:45 bell will be marked tardy, unless there is doctor/dentist note excusing them for the time they missed.
- Students who are not here before the 9:00 AM bell will be marked absent unless they come in with a doctor note.
- Students can be dropped off at the front of the school starting at 7:00 AM at the gym doors. The back doors do not open until 7:30. Students who are dropped off in the back before 7:30 will need to walk around to the front or be dropped off in the front instead.
- At 7:30, the back doors open and students can use that entrance to walk to class.
- The tardy bell rings at 7:45. Students need to be inside the school doors at 7:45 to not receive a tardy. Students are encouraged to unpack and be in their seats ready to learn by 7:45.
- If your child would like to eat breakfast, they start serving breakfast at 7:15 in the cafeteria.
- Per Texas Education Code, three tardies equals an unexcused absence in truancy court.

FIRE PREVENTION POSTER CONTEST
“Not every hero wears a cape. Plan and Practice your Escape!”
This year’s Fire Prevention Week campaign, “Not Every Hero Wears a Cape. Plan and Practice Your Escape!” works to educate everyone about the small but important actions they can take to keep themselves and those around them safe.
Did you know?
In a typical home fire, you may have as little as one to two minutes to escape safely from the time the smoke alarm sounds. Escape planning and practice can help you make the most of the time you have, giving everyone enough time to get out.
Plan ahead for your escape. Make your home escape plan and practice today.
