WISELearn Digital Content Curation Workshop at WEMTA
The WISE Learn Digital Content Curation Project is a state-wide project that aims to create an easy-to-use repository of high quality, standards-aligned digital resources that all Wisconsin educators can access for their classroom instruction, and we need highly regarded educators to help with the process. Please join a growing number of Wisconsin educators sharing their content expertise.
This spring we are curating high quality materials in the content areas of health, agriculture, business and information technologies, physical education and the visual arts areas at all grade levels. We also continue to curate in the content areas of science, English language arts and mathematics.
Participating curators are required to complete online training prior to the curation day. In order to receive a stipend for their time, curators are required to complete the following tasks:
- Complete online training before curation day (4-6 hours)
- Bring 4-6 digital resources on curation day
- Curate at least 1-2 digital resources during the curation event
Curators receive: • $150 stipend for off-contract time • $25 in travel expenses • Recognition certificate for contribution to this statewide, innovative project for access to high quality digital content for ALL learners across Wisconsin.
