Local Boy Gets Grounded by His Mom Because He Kissed the Girls and Made Them Cry
The History of the Show My Little Ponies Friendship is Magic
My Little Ponies was developed by Lauren Faust and Hasbro asked if she could do a show on My Little Ponies instead. The show was made for young girls, but boys started watching it and now boys are known as bronies and girls as pegasisters. A pony with crossed-eyes can be seen in some of the episodes and the animators said it was an error, but the pony soon became known as Derpy Hooves. Princess Celestia was originally going to be a queen and have the highest authority, but Hasbro changed her to be a princess even though Lauren Faust did not approve. They changed her because kids think that queens are evil and princesses are good. Twilight Sparkle was originally going to just be Twilight, but legal issues because of the Twilight fantasies were coming out. They also thought about Twilight Twinkle. Princess Luna was going to be named Princess Selena and Nightmare Moon was going to be Discord, which eventually went to another villain and Gilda was going to be Grizelda and Applejack Dog Winona was going to be Brandy or Buckaroo and Ponyville was going to be Fillydelphia. The character Discord was entirely made by Lauren Faust, which was inspired by the character Quow from Star Track. In fact, Discord is voiced by the one who played Quow. A survey conducted in 2014 showed that the average age of Bronies is 21 and over 80% are male. The show has tons of references. For example, Dr. Hooves is named after Doctor Who and the castle in My Little Ponies is from The Lord of The Rings. At the end of one of the episodes, they return to harmony. Sometimes you can see specific colored ribbon on a tail of a horse and they have meanings such as blue, which means that it is a stallion and red means it is a kicker and on Applejack the ribbon on her tail means that she is a kicker. No matter what your opinion is about the show or the fandom., you can’t deny how the whole brony has come to be. There is a convention that is called Bronycon that had about 8,000+ in 2013. Even documentaries have been made that had an inside look of the whole bronies.
