The Carleton Chronicle
A weekly update from Carleton Middle School
Parent Teacher Conferences
At the bottom of our Carleton Chronicle are the times for our upcoming parent teacher conferences at Carleton Middle School. Please take some time to review them and plan on attending to meet your son or daughter's teachers and support staff. As technology becomes more and more readily available and you can set your phone to alert you to any new PowerSchool entries, it is imperative not to lose focus on our vision and mission at Carleton. We are committed to the individual, celebrate learning, and are striving for excellence through continual improvement and refinement. Having a conversation about teaching and learning helps us achieve this.
Our teachers and support staff can learn so much about your student by attending conferences and hearing about past academic history, life outside of school, successes and struggles with learning and /or behavior concerns, among others. You know your learner best and we enjoy hearing your insight and perspective. It's also nice to put a face to a name or email address. Lastly, Mr. Lee is our new Assistant Principal hired a few weeks ago and this would be a great opportunity to meet him along with other new teachers in the building that were not at Carleton last year.
We hope to see you there. Rumor has it there will be coffee and cookies!
