The Jag News
FM9's Daily News - Thursday, March 2, 2017
"PediPlace is a not-for-profit pediatric clinic that provides primary care pediatric health services ... By providing quality, compassionate, family-centered healthcare to North Texas children with limited access to care, children are given what they cannot access elsewhere...a chance at a healthy life."
All month long Student Council will be holding fundraisers for PediPlace.
- Student Council is accepting $5 donations for NBA brackets during all lunches. The winner gets 2 tickets to Mavs game.
- Bins set up during all lunches to collect change for teachers. The teacher with the most money in their bucket receives a pie in the face on Friday 10th.
- 3rd period classes collect money. The class that collects the most money receives a pizza party.
All donations benefit PediPlace and FMHS goal is to reach $4,000 by the end of March. If the goal is reached, students will receive a half day off of school in April!
