What is SIDS?

Sids is Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. It normally occurs while a baby is sleeping, and it can happen to any baby (even very healthy babies) that are less than a year old.


-Babies that sleep in an adult bed have a 40 times greater risk of SIDS.

-Babies that receive breast milk for any duration are 60% less likely to fall victim to SIDS.

Rules to follow

1.) keep soft bedding and other materials out of the babies sleeping area.

2.)Breast feed your baby for at least the first six months (if possible)
