Banks-Caddell Bulldog Friends and Family,

Can you believe next week is Thanksgiving Break? After the break, we only have three more weeks before the end of the semester. Our teachers and students are working hard to get the most out of every day.

We have many exciting events over the next month. Our Thanksgiving Lunch will be Friday, Nov 18th, for 1st, 3rd, and 4th grade. We will have a Holiday Lunch on Dec 9th for Pre-K, Kindergarten, 2nd and 5th grade. We will be sending home more information soon.

Please check out the Banks-Caddell website for up to date events and activities. We will kick off the week of December 5-9 with the bookfair! Mrs. Smith will send out more information soon. This is a great way to purchase economical books for your child.

On December 2, we will have our school Spelling Bee. I cannot wait to see who gets to go to the district spelling bee.

I hope you have a great Thanksgiving. See you after the holiday week.

Sincerely,

Britt Lovelace

Principal

Consistency of Caregiving Practices

One of the most important things that parents can do for themselves and their children is create consistency at home. Consistency means purposely choosing how parents are going to engage with or respond to their children. How does this help children? Why is inconsistency harmful to children? Why is it so hard for parents to create a consistent environment? Want to know the answers to these questions and more? Please join the Decatur City Schools Family Academy and Parent and Children Together (PACT) as it presents:
