REMINDER: Spring MAP testing sign-up
PLEASE SIGN UP FOR SPRING MAP TESTING BY MONDAY OR A TIME WILL BE SELECTED FOR YOU.
- Rather than trying to cram testing into one week, we are going to have testing span over 8 days.
- We are also going use the laptop cart and privacy dividers if any classes would like to try testing in their natural learning environment, rather than going to the lab. This would be best for older students (grades 3-4). Those using the laptops will not have someone set up the computers before hand. Your students will login on their own. Directions will be provided to teachers ahead of time.
- Please make sure to add the names of students who need a small group. Our student support team will sign up for each session so that students who might need a small group setting can still access that.
Educator Effectiveness
Summary year:
- Year-end meeting: Schedule a one-hour meeting with me to review the different components. These meetings should be scheduled anytime in June (through June 20th). We will also discuss your SLO and PPG. Work with Carol to get that date/time that works with my schedule.
- Artifacts: Upload artifacts and tag them in Google Classroom. These are only for Domains 1 & 4. Please provide a brief summary of each artifact, making it clear how each artifact links to the component within the domain. One artifact can attach to multiple components: just make sure the rationale is clear. A few sentences is fine. There needs to be one piece of evidence per component. Also, remember an artifact does not need to be a physical thing. You can just write up a summary of a training you attended or an experience you had and what you learned.
- SLO: Collect data on your students and upload the evidence to Classroom. Complete the bottom section of the SLO form, which is the end of year review.
- PPG: Complete the bottom section of the Teacher PPG form, which is a reflection of the year.
Supportive Year:
- Year end meeting: You will have your last SLO meeting with Joan Marley on May 26th - Please bring along as much data as you have at that point.
- Artifacts: DO NOT UPLOAD ANY ARTIFACTS TO GET A JUMP START ON NEXT YEAR! We will not be using Google Classroom, so any uploads will not be transferred.
- SLO: Collect data on your students and upload the evidence to Classroom. Complete the bottom section of the SLO form, which is the end of year review.
- PPG: Complete the bottom section of the Teacher PPG form, which is a reflection of the year.
