Welcome Back!!
Welcome back East Avenue Families! We hope you had a relaxing and restful summer vacation. School has started and we are thrilled! Breakfast will be served in the MPR beginning at 7:15 for zero period students and 8:15 for all others. Students will be dismissed at 2:31, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Our release time is 1:31 on Wednesdays. We are excited to see our returning students and families as well as those who are new to the East Avenue.
This year we have a number of new teachers we’ve added to our East Avenue family. Be sure to say "hi" when you see them.

During the first week of school, students will learn the “Dolphin Way” and what it means to Be Safe, Be Responsible and Be Respectful all around our campus. The Dolphin Way will be taught through a series of engaging and interactive cross-curricular lessons.

Parent University
Parent University offers parents and care-givers a series of in-person workshops designed to offer tools to help adults navigate the tween years. This year, in partnership with Axis Community Health, East Avenue Middle School is going to host a series of presentations we have named Parent University. The goal of the series is to give families additional tools to help them and their middle school student through these years. It is also aimed to make parents aware of trends and how to help their student avoid certain pitfalls.
Below is a list of the presentations that will be offered during the school year.
