IOWA and CogAT testing for Second Grade Students-Beginning Monday, October 19th
Second grades students in the state of South Carolina will participate in an achievement test (IOWA) and an aptitude test (CogAt). These tests are administered for the purpose of identifying students for REACH, our district’s program for gifted and talented students. These results are also useful in determining the cognitive ability of your student. Test results will be sent to the District Office in December of 2020. Qualifying students will begin attending REACH during the 2021-2022 school year.
Note:F1S Virtual Academy students must take the test on campus. Parents are responsible for transporting students to and from school on the testing days.
If you have any questions or concerns, contact Melanie Sprenger (Guidance Counselor).
The Virtual students will be split into 2 groups (Group 1 and Group 2)
o Group 1 will test October 20, October 27 and November 2, 2020
o Group 2 will test October 22, October 29 and November 5, 2020
