What is Wind?
Winds are when differences in the air pressure happen, if it is cold or hot. The wind direction is measured by a wind vane and the speed is measured by an anemometer.
Local Winds
Land and Sea Breezes
Land Breezes are when the breezes come from the land and go to the sea. A sea breeze is when breezes come from the sea and go to the land.
Sea Breeze
Sea breezes blow during the day time. They come from the sea to the land and the process goes on and on. The sea also warms up slower then the land.
Land Breeze.
Land breezes blow during the night time. They come from the land to the sea and the process repeats itself. The land warms up faster then the sea.
Global Winds
Global winds are like Local winds but they span over the earth. Global winds have calm winds, Horse Latitudes and Doldrums. The trade winds are used for trading.
