UPDATES:
Playground Equipment- Beginning Monday, Oct. 5, students will have access to playground balls. We have ordered additional items such as jump ropes and ball hops (Thank you, PTO!). These items will be used by classroom cohorts and cleaned nightly. Your child may still bring a personal item or 2 from home for the time being.*This will likely change as more students return to hybrid instruction, but for now staff can easily monitor these items.
If we are Hybrid, can we log on virtually from home or vacation?- If your child has an arranged appointment, or is too sick to attend school, but is able to log on from home, then yes. One off situations/emergencies can be accommodated when absolutely necessary. We want kids to access their instruction. If your child just doesn't want to go to school, or it's raining and you don't want to venture out, the answer is no. Our teachers are very committed to making sure their virtual students have their materials and supplies in advance and it creates extra work for them when a hybrid student shows up virtually and it has not been communicated in advance. Please call the office and notify the teacher by 7:30 am (or the night before) if your child is sick, but is able to join virtually. Please plan vacations during school breaks.
Moving from Virtual to Hybrid- If you are considering returning for Hybrid Learning, please give the office a call. We may be able to accommodate your request within a week of you letting us know your wish to return. Logistics including adequate staffing and adjusting staff schedules when student numbers shift takes time, which is the reason we need at least a week prior to your child returning.
Adams Gate- Please refer to the visual below for Adams Gate procedures. Students are to wait on the sidewalk until their car is waved forward by a TMA staff member. The car line begins on the north side of Adams near the first cone. If you drive around to the south side of Adams and park, you must exit your vehicle and walk over to get your child. *Please do not pass other cars on the street or turn-about to pick up your child or exit.

EXTRA INCENTIVES for $chool$!
To get everyone excited about our DINO DETOUR, we decided to give out MORE money!! TPSF will be giving out $1000 in October and $1000 in November!! HOW does this work? Who gets the money?? For every 25 registrations/runnerships or Instagram tags with #dinodetour (and your school name of course), we will put your school in a drawing. So, for example, if your school has 40 registrations and 20 Instagram tags by the selected cut-off date, your school would have 2 entries.
For the first drawing, the cut-off date is Sept. 30th for a drawing the following week.
For the second drawing, the cut-off date is Oct. 31st for a drawing the following week.
