CATCHING THEM IN THE ACT

A CONSERVATORY PREP NEWSLETTER

WEEK OF APRIL 11-15, 2016

Color War has ended and the black team was triumphant. The students sang songs, built towers, discovered the hidden meanings of fairy tales, learned about a few myths and planned Mrs. Teitzman's summer vacation on a budget!

On Monday, April 18th, Governor Rick Scott will be coming to the JCC to address the community and will sign the new Holocaust legislation. As a school, we will be seated in the auditorium at 2:30PM. We will not be able to leave the auditorium until 4:00PM after Governor Scott has left the building. The use of cell phones will also not be permitted. Students choosing not to attend, will go to PE. If your child is not attending the lecture and will be picked up at 3:20, please pick up in front of the Sports and Wellness Center.

Reflection Day for grades 9-12 will be held on Thursday, April 21st from 8:30 - 11:00. Following a morning of classes with family members, the Conservatory Prep Chapter of the National Honor Society will be inducting Marley, Claire and Rebecca. The morning should be complete by 11:30 dismissal.

No School Friday, April 22 - Friday, April 29th. School resumes on Monday, May 2nd.

Youth Leadership of Broward will be having their Summer Leadership Summit June 10-11th. We encourage all of our sophomores, juniors and senior to attend. http://www.leadershipbroward.org/youth-leadership-summit
