Piracy
Piracy is the stealing of copyrighted work by downloading or copying it, in order to sell or give it away without permission or paying for it. It is an illegal practice you can get arrested for.

Plagiarizing
Plagiarizing is the copying, “lifting”, or making slight changes to some or all of someone's work & saying you wrote it. Just like piracy it is an illegal practice.
Copy Right
Copy right is the exclusive legal right, given to an originator to print, publish, perform, film, or record literary, artistic, or musical material, and to authorize others to do the same. You have to give original owners copy right, unless given permission to use freely.

Fair Use
fair use is any copying of copyrighted material done for a limited and “transformative” purpose, such as to comment upon, criticize, or parody a copyrighted work. Such uses can be done without permission from the copyright owner.

Digital footprint is the word used to describe the trail, traces or "footprints" that people leave online. Digital footprints are not just from what you post but also what people post, comment, and share about you.
