Monday Memo
November 18-22, 2019~~~ A Newsletter for Teachers and Staff
Happy 'ALMOST' Thanksgiving!
I hope you enjoy these from your colleagues at CES,
I was so tired this week that I ...
...wore two different shoes to work and didn't notice until someone pointed it out to me in the checkout line at Walmart. It was 6:00 pm.
...Put my shirt on backwards, thank goodness I noticed before school started.
...I forgot to rinse out the conditioner while taking a shower one morning and I didn't notice until I arrived at work.
...that I tried to unlock my van with my work keys...twice.
...I forgot to order my blood pressure pills.
...I left my keys to my car in the room when going home. I went back in to get them and then left my phone. Nothing like 3 trips to the car just to go home.
... that I had to set 3 reminder alarms to help me get through the week. Unfortunately, I accidentally made one for Saturday at 12:40, and it went off at a church ceremony.
...I shaved only 1 leg.
... that I slept on my sofa before dinner untVil past 9:00 p.m.
...I had sleep through dinner on Thursday (at 6 pm).
...hit the floor 2 button on the elevator. I didn't go anywhere, because I was already on the second floor.... I needed the first floor.
...I forgot to wash my hair while in the shower.. I had to get another one
...I, too, wore two different color shoes. Ha! I went to bed at 8pm.
...that while I was home sick I wore the same outfit for two days in a row! LOL
...was so tired this week that my butt cheeks got carpet burn from dragging
...I seriously was thinking about putting an out of order sign on my forehead.
...I wore my shirt backwards and didn't notice until Mrs. Lopez said that it looked funny.
...I fell asleep at 6:00 on Friday night.
...the kids and I all fell asleep under the parachute and the teacher couldn't find us!
...that the baby was fed, bathed and ready for bed before 7. If I had sat down and played with her before her bath she wouldn’t have been bathed, dinner would have been noodles and I would have fallen asleep.
...forgot my lunch...twice
...I was looking everywhere for my car keys when they were in the door.
Have a great week and a refreshing Thanksgiving Break!

Action Items and Reminders
Please send students to nurse when they are injured. If you hear them ask and you aren't sure....send them so a parent call can be made. We don't want them going home, with an injury, or mark and we didn't follow procedures. Please think..."if this was my child?" how would you want it handled. We had a couple of head and neck injuries that were legit and the child never went to nurse. Let's be careful out there.
Don't forget...don't skip the 15 minutes of reading! Our students desperately need read time!
- Week of the 18th-22nd will be a Team Building -School Culture Game with prizes! Prepare for a little fun to see us through to Thanksgiving Break! Sign up will come out this week! WOO HOO!
Please sign in daily.
If you have a time sheet it is very important to come up and sign in.
Ms. Heather Johnson is our District Science & Math Coach! You can email her and request that she come do a lesson in Science and/or Math and she will come model a lesson for you. Send her the standard and she will set up a time with you to come in and teach the lesson. Book her now teachers! She loves to come in and model. What a treat and an awesome opportunity for professional learning.
Don't forget to upload your plans in our shared drive. Outstanding job to everyone on getting your plans submitted and on time!

APPRECIATIONS
Thank you to Mrs. Whiteside for always taking care of us here at CES. I met her many years ago and was blessed to work with her for some time here at Central Elementary. What a blessing to have worked with her again this year. She has been a Godsend to me. I know she will be missed by all, and especially the students. May she be successful as she starts off on this new journey. We wish her all the very best! Visit often Mrs. Whiteside!
Please know these are just a few of the appreciations captured this week.
I know...I'm taking forever...maybe I'm waiting on the roofers to finish first. Hah!
