Random Acts of Kindness Teacher Challenge!
Mrs. Silva's Class Goes Above and Beyond!
I had my class collect blankets and stuffed animals for the CAST (Children’s Alliance of South Texas). I did this for a couple reasons: My 40th birthday just passed and I wanted the class to see birthdays are not just about receiving gifts, we can also give instead. Also, I had my nieces and nephews that were taken into CPS custody many years ago and I wanted to give back, like people gave to them. J I even had some of my former students donate as well. J I’m super proud of them!
4th grade Students Share Valentine Love!
Important Reminder!
This time of year, teachers collect funds for various events, such as t shirts or field days. Just a reminder:
It is district policy that any and ALL funds collected be deposited into the districts depository bank. After the collection period is over a check will be sent to the appropriate company/organization.
If you have questions, please ask. Do not keep money in your possession!
Safety First
Wear an ID at all times.
Do NOT share your Employee ID number.
Save those Bottles!
It’s that time again! 5th grade is preparing the materials we need to make our terra aqua bottles.
We are in need of 2-liter bottles that are clear and smooth like the one in the picture below. We would appreciate any you have to spare between now and March 3rd. Please rinse them out and take off the labels. We do need the lid so please include that too.
If you have any, please send them to either Mrs Shaffer (room 510) or Miss Cragun (room 610) or email us and we can send a student to go get them!
