The students enjoyed their Eegees parties that they earned from the Stem-a-then.

You can see from the pictures that the students enjoyed Eegees even on a cool day.

Ms. Crystal’s class really enjoyed their Valentine’s Day Party.

They had activities, food and then shared all of the valentines cards.

Mrs. Henikman’s class shared letters to each student. These letters included a compliment from each one of their classmates.

The look on the students’ faces as they read the nice things that were said about them was priceless! Thank you Mrs. Henikman for teaching kindness and sharing on Valentine’s Day.

The students in Mrs. Lopez’s 5th grade math class were working on using standard algorithm for multiplication. All of the students worked hard and were able to show their work.

2nd Graders were thrilled to have their Eegee's celebration outside on the playground yesterday.

Way to glow, Bobcats! Students and families had a great time dancing with their friends at the Glow Dance on Friday.

As part of our Love of Reading event happening on Thursday, March 2 @ 5:30 pm, we will have a Book Exchange! Details below.

• Students, bring your books through Tuesday, February 28th to Ms. Allison in the library.
• Picture books, easy reader chapter books, or chapter books are all great! Books should be Kindergarten through 5th grade reading levels.
• Students can receive up to 5 tickets for the books they bring in.
• Students will receive tickets for the books they bring in a couple days before the book exchange.
• Then, at Love of Reading on March 2nd students will choose the same number of books that they brought in from the collection of other student's books. If they are unable to make it that night, we will have the books available on a cart on Friday, March 3.

Our Lost & Found is overflowing. Please send your child to check for any missing belongings. Or if you have a few extra minutes during the week, feel free to stop by and take a look. Don't forget to label things at home as this helps us locate the owner.

We moved our February FFO meeting to the evening this Thursday, February 16 @6pm in hopes that families and faculty members who are not able to attend during the school day will be able to make it. STEM-a-thon pledges (from the Fall) raised over $20,000 for Ventana Vista - thank you! Those funds will directly support field trips, classroom grants, and school activities for this Spring. The FFO threw a school-wide EEGEES celebration at all of the Valentine’s Day classroom parties on Tuesday. Awesome job and thank you for collecting donations and supporting Ventana Vista with this year's STEM-a-thon!
