Kidcreate - Holiday Gift Making, grades 1-4
Your child will create a hand-crafted gift just in time for the holiday season. We'll make picture frames, clay trinket boxes, snow globes and more. Register soon for this popular class.
Stem Builders - Little Xplorers: Robotics, grades 1-4
The Little Xplorer Robotics classes use educational LEGO WeDo Robots kits to create a perfect mixture of fun and imagination that can help expand your child's creative mind. Students will be introduced to robot design and coding to create robots capable of performing simple tasks.
AKASPORT - Multisports, grades 1-4
Explore sports! Students will sample a new sport each week. Emphasis is on fitness and sportsmanship as well as 50 minutes of instruction, games and hustle activities.
Grand Masters of Chess, Youth Enrichment League, grades K-4
Learn, practice and play chess in each class. The YEL! "Teach It! Practice It! Play It" method keeps students on track with new chess lessons and puzzles each week as well as guided games and in-class tournaments.
Junior Video Game Design, Youth Enrichment League, grades 2-4
Perfect for the 21st Century Learner. This class will take students from learning about designing video games to coding, writing and keeping their very own game.
Westwood Programs
Animation Club, grades 5-8
This is a student-led club designed for students to work together on animation projects.
Pokemon TCG Club, grades 4-8
Test your trainer skills against your friends at WW Pokemon Trading Card Game Club. The focus of this club will be playing the game and trading will not be allowed.
Chess Club, grades 5-8
Join us for open chess play. Improve your skills and hang out with friends.
Knowledge Bowl, grades 6-8
Join the Middle School team and compete in interdisciplinary academic contests.
Bowling Club, grades 5-12
Bowl with the SLP Panthers. Open to everyone who likes to bowl and have a desire to be a better bowler. No experience is necessary.
Crazy for Manga - Young Rembrandts, grades 5-12 (January Class)
Perfect for the student who is always doodling characters and comics, loves visual novels and animated series. In this course, students will learn authentic techniques for drawing and sketching Manga and Anime style characters. The class is great for all skill levels.
Family Activities
Parent & Child Cupcake Decorating with Paige!
Join us for an evening of cupcake decorating with Paige Goehner, SLP Student and winner of Food Network's show Kids Baking Championship! Paige will walk you through decorating techniques to make adorable winter-themed cupcakes.
Join us for a special horse-drawn sleigh ride through the snowy trails of Bunker Hills Park. Stick around after the ride to enjoy a bonfire and Smore's.
High School Opportunities
Community Education partners with Safeway Driving School to provide a convenient option for Driver's Education at Spring Lake Park High School, immediately after the high school day. We have upcoming sessions in November, December and January. Register today as our classes are filling quickly.
Podcasting with StoryArk, grades 9-12
Learn how to create your own podcast to share with friends, family and the world! In addition to learning the steps to produce a podcast, students will also meet professional podcasters and receive acting and vocal lessons from a Hollywood actor.
Dungeons & Dragons at BadWolf Adventure Studios, grades 8-12
Learn the rules and basics of D&D, create your character and begin on your first quest! Students will also recieve a custom 3D-printed D20 (20 sided die) crafted by BadWolf Adventure Studios.

NEW & Free! Indoor Walking Club - Saturday mornings, starting November 6
Join us Saturday mornings this winter for a fun, warm and relaxing way to exercise. We have designed indoor routes at the Spring Lake Park High School to get your steps in. After you walk, stick around for coffee and snacks provided by the SLP Lions Club.

Add a beautiful spruce top container to your porch or deck this holiday season! Mickman designers will show you how to create your own unique decorative container.
North Metro TV - Movie Man Presentations
