THANK YOU!

A BIG THANK YOU to the Staff Appreciation Committee! Our staff is so very thankful and appreciative of the thoughtful dinners you provided on the nights of Parent Teacher Conferences. It was so nice to have that special treat and was a great morale booster! Each of our staff appreciates the extra effort you make to bless us and support us.

Also a big thank you to the parents for scheduling and attending conferences last week. We value these conversations very much. Please don't hesitate to communicate with us outside of formally scheduled conferences.

THANKSGIVING BASKETS

The Thanksgiving food drive will end THIS COMING FRIDAY, Nov. 18. Please get all your food items to either school campus as soon as possible. Thank you so much for making this service project a success!

WE NEED BUS DRIVERS!

WE ARE HIRING SCHOOL BUS DRIVERS!!! Do you or someone you know desire to be a hero to really cute and well-behaved students? Do you want to know what the “PERKS” are to being a school bus driver? You get to wake up early and get to school when nobody else can. You get to bundle up in your warmest winter attire to start up a freezing cold bus, only to realize after an hour, it’s still not warm. You get to find houses in the dark, enjoy beautiful sunrises and become an expert driver in any and all types of road conditions. Driver Qualifications: School bus drivers must have eyes on the back of their heads, be able to hear every word being said behind them, even if it’s in sign language. Bus drivers must be immune to noise and not be afraid of five year olds with motion sickness. Occasionally, a school bus driver will get tired, but they seldom get mad; and always, faithfully, get their precious cargo where they need to go.

Does this describe you? Are you up for the challenge? All training and certification will be provided. Great starting pay. Part-time. Approximately 15-20 hours per week. Contact Kim Zwyghuizen today to learn more and be a part of our wonderful group of dedicated bus drivers! (Kim Zwyghuizen – kimz@legacycs.org)

Baked goods

Did you miss the craft sale? We still have Dutch double crust apple pies left for $12 each and $12 Pig-in-the-blankets, they can be purchased and picked up from the West Campus during office hours. Don't miss out! Get yours today for those holiday parties!
