Why is it dangerous?
When the plants grow they take up a large amount of area and reduce the amount of space other living species in the habitat can live. By doing this it reduces biodiversity. When you see it be sure to dig and pull it out or cut it and dispose of it in the trash. Do not plant it anywhere else. This is very important because these plants are killing our native species.
How purple loosestrife effects the communities ecosystem.
They have the ability to take up a large amount of space because the seeds spread around the environment. It decreases biodiversity when it displaces native plants.
