Deleting Folders & Files in Google Drive
Have had a few questions come up about how to delete folder and files in Google lately. Here are the steps for deleting items in Google:
Right Click on Doc or Folder
In the menu that appears, click on "Remove." This will move the item to your "Trash."
Deleting from Trash
To remove a Doc or Folder from your Google Drive completely, click on "New" then "Trash" then click "Trash" above files and select "Empty Trash"
Empty Trash
Once "Empty Trash" has been clicked your files and folders within "Trash" will be permanently removed from your Google Drive. Emptying your trash in Drive cannot be undone.
Kiddle - Kid Friendly Search Engine
Kiddle allows kids to do a Web, images, news or video search. When a student enters a search term, Kiddle will retrieve a list of related links. The first few results will include safe sites that are written specifically for kids, handpicked and checked by the editors. The next 4-7 results will be sites that include content that is written in simpler, easy to comprehend language. Results past this will include sites written at higher reading levels, still filtered by Google's safe search.
For more information on Kiddle see Tech Times recent post on Kiddle.
