Gentle Reminders

Picture Day is THIS Friday

On Friday, October 15 we will be having our school picture day. Students should be dressed in either their Mass day uniform or in their "Sunday Best" outfit. All outfits should be appropriate and in line with our school's modesty guidelines.

Picture packages will be ordered entirely online. Parents can order pictures as late as Friday morning, but please don't wait that long. To see the available packages and order online, please visit the website for Van Gogh School Photography. Use our school event code: 20047701 to see your options and place your order.

No School on Monday, October 11

In observance of Columbus / Indigenous Peoples' Day, St. Stan's Academy will be closed on Monday. Please encourage you child(ren) to relax, read a book, catch up on some work, or spend some time outside during their day off.

WCGC Bottles of Change Drive

Last week, baby bottles were distributed to every student. The intent is for students to fill their bottle with spare change and return it to school. The money will be given to the Women's Centers of Greater Chicagoland. The money will help to provide pregnancy counseling, material goods assistance, and medical/social service referrals for expecting mothers. Students have until October 22 to fill their bottles and turn them into the main office.

Spirit Wear Sale

The online spirit wear store is now open, but it will close on Monday, October 18. Please click on this link to see your options for showing your St. Stan's Wildcat pride! Please note that as the weather turns colder, only approved St. Stan's apparel will be allowed to be worn in addition to the normal school uniform while indoors.
