Friday Notes

September 9, 2022

Picture Day is Coming...

...but a little later than we had planned. Our photographer is unwell and we need to reschedule. Our new date will be September 22. Our retake day will remain on the same date, October 11, which will make a tight turnaround, but Ambient is confident that it can be done!

Homecoming - September 30

Homecoming is an outdoor event with a harvest theme. We will host a few soccer events, play harvest games, enjoy food vendors, and engage with art stations - fun for the whole family! Stay tuned for future Friday Notes for more detailed information!

After School Program News

As families begin the challenge of re-establishing school routines, we ask you to be mindful of the dismissal timeframe the school has established. Dismissal begins at 3:00 pm and concludes at 3:15 pm. While registration is required of all After School Program (ASP) participants, students who remain at school at 3:15 pm are automatically sent to our ASP and families are responsible for the drop-in fee, regardless of how much time the student is in attendance at ASP. We recognize this can create frustration; as such, please allow yourself extra time to account for unexpected delays, such as construction and traffic so that we may avoid this frustration.

A few notes:

  • We are thrilled to announce two new staff members to our After School Program! Please join us in welcoming Joanne Dezotelle and Halie Kish (BJAMS '19) to our program!
  • ASP is full on Thursdays and is not currently accepting new registrants.
  • Due to Homecoming events, ASP will not be offered on Friday, September 30.
