2017 RELAY FOR LIFE - REGISTRATION IS OPEN!
The sign up for Relay for Life is on! As of today Team MSA SAINTS has 40 people signed up to walk! Thank you all so much for your support of this really worthwhile cause. 90% of funds will go toward purchasing and installing radiation equipment. Currently cancer patients in Bermuda must travel overseas for radiation therapy and this often means being away from family support for 3 months or more. This equipment will be a God send for many!
Registration is still open to anyone who wishes to come join us and participate. We are hoping you will help us make a difference this year. Please go to www.bermudarelay.com to register. Online registration closes on April 30th.
For any volunteers who wish to walk on Friday, May 12th please register using the link above under the MSA SAINTS team. The Bermuda School of Music is pleased to be able to offer a beginning group guitar class for Term 3 2016/17. This is an excellent opportunity to learn the basic techniques, rhythm, how to read music, and other essentials for every beginning musician. Students will need their own instrument, but all other materials will be provided. It is our hope that by the end of this course, we will have sparked a passion for music in the students, and they are encouraged to continue to develop their skills through private instruction.
If you have been unsure about beginning music lessons, this is a great chance to "test the waters" at a greatly reduced cost. The 10 week course will be held Saturday afternoons from 3:30-4:30 beginning Saturday, April 22, located at the Bermuda School of Music, in the old Berkeley School. The cost for this course is $180 (just $18/hour, and in Bermuda!!). Spaces are available for private instruction as well, for those who want to jump right in or those who want to improve their playing but are beyond a beginning level. Please contact Jerremiah Smith to enroll, or with any questions.
