Rest, Relax, Rejuvenate
Dear Winchester Students, Parents, and Staff,
All Winchester Elementary students, families, and staff are encouraged to use our breaks to rest, relax, and rejuvenate. We believe that breaks should be a time to Sharpen the Saw, reconnect with our families, and enjoy some special “down time” with family and friends. Therefore all students AND staff will be free of academic-related work during the following dates:
- Winter Break (Saturday, December 21 - Sunday, January 5)
- Mid-Winter Break (Saturday, February 15 - Tuesday, February 18)
- Spring Break (Saturday, April 4 - Sunday, April 12)
On the return day from each respective break, there will be no homework, assignments, projects, or papers due and no quizzes or tests. We hope you and your family consider the upcoming Thanksgiving Break a chance to rest, relax, and return to school rejuvenated!

Please make sure to upload a hi-res photo for us to use. Contact winchestermiyearbook@gmail.com with any questions.
Thank You - PTA Membership / IIYC Update & Pizza Party Update!
The final tally has been triple checked and, over the past month, another 30 members have joined the PTA and invested over $1,300 into Invest in Your Child. That support will be used directly to support programs that grow our student's perspectives. Overall, this pushes us to about 90% of our membership and to 73% of our IIYC goals.
Special kudos to Ms. Bolt's and Ms. Lenard's classrooms who have won a pizza party from Mother's Pizza, who graciously donated to the cause. Details forthcoming to those classrooms. Thanks again for all the support and congrats to the winners!
