FFA Senior Spotlight!!
Next up for Senior Spotlight is Carson Topf!
What is your SAE?
“My SAE is Grain Production.”
What role do you play in our chapter? Have you held an officer position? What activities have you been involved in?
“I am a member in our chapter this year.I have also been a member my freshman and sophomore year. I was the officer at large position my junior year. Some activities I have participated in are fruit sales, feed the farmers, FFA competitions, and Ag day.”
What are your plans for after high school?
“My plans after high school involve me going to college and trying to play basketball. I am still undecided on what I want to study in college.”
How has FFA and ag impacted your future career choice?
“It has impacted my future career choice by giving me more knowledge and skills about agriculture and farming so it is easier to help my dad around the farm or anyone who is in need of help.”
If you could give any advice to an incoming FFA member what would it be?
“It is a lot of fun even if you aren’t around a lot of agriculture at home. There are so many opportunities you get when in FFA which gives you a lot of good ways to show the community that you are involved.“
Favorite memory of Westwood FFA.
“Being the FFA District volleyball champs in 2022-2023.”
