What are we learning?
Units of study: Narrative reading and Argument /Opinion writing
Class Activities
· Students will complete lessons in reading, writing,
listening, speaking, grammar, and vocabulary
· For reading and comprehension students read books from the classroom or school library , Kids A to Z, audio Books,and other reading selections
· Writing will include written paper activities and written responses to books, projects, or reports. Quick writes on various topics. Story writing and informational writing
· Listening activities include books on tapes, or stories or activities on the computer, and dictated or said activities from me
· Speaking activities will include conversations with me or a classmate, oral presentations, speaking in class discussion, and group sharing

Michigan English Language Proficiency Assessment
The testing window for WIDA ACCESS will begin February 03,2020 and closes March 20, 2020. I will be providing families more information as we get closer to the beginning date.
