Policy Associate - J-PAL North America
Education: You hold either a bachelor’s or a master’s degree in economics, public policy, statistics, or a closely related field. You have training in statistics and quantitative methods.
Experience: This is a junior-level position requiring 0-4 years of relevant work experience. Policy Associates range from recent or soon-to-be graduates with related internships, to people with previous experience in research and/or policy work, to recent master’s students with just a couple of years of work experience. Prior demonstrated experience working with communities experiencing poverty in North America is a plus.

Program Associate, Latin America and the Caribbean
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, International Relations, Economics, Latin American studies, or other social science or related field
- Master’s degree preferred
Experience:
- 1-2 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience living, volunteering, working, or studying in Latin America strongly preferred
- Familiarity with human rights or democracy-related issues in Latin America is preferred
- Experience managing grants, including USG funding, is a plus

Coastal Conservation Technician Position
The Nature Conservancy is looking to hire a Coastal Conservation Technician for the 2019 Summer. In this position you will assist the staff at the Virginia Coast Reserve with stewardship activities, marine habitat restoration, and education events. Philadelphia 2030 District Internship (Post-grad Opp.)
This position supports Green Building United’s Policy and Program Director to coordinate and grow the Philadelphia 2030 District. The Philadelphia 2030 District is a voluntary, private-sector led effort by the owners, managers, and developers of the city’s largest properties to achieve deep reductions in energy use, water use, and transportation emissions.
This is a part-time position that runs from May 2019 to November 2019. Candidates can expect to work between 10 and 20 hours per week at a rate of $15/hour. Exact hours and schedule will depend upon applicant’s availability and Green Building United’s needs.

LEAP Senior Counselor - Summer Job (New Haven, CT)
The purpose of the Senior Counselor is to lead a group of 15-20 children as their counselor, teacher, mentor and positive role model while they develop academically and socially. It is a a full-time position in the Summer. Senior Counselors are the center of the LEAP experience for their children, and they must demonstrate the highest level of commitment.

Americans for Financial Reform - Paid Summer Internship
- Fair rules of the road for consumers and a strong, effective Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to set basic safety standards and protect families.
- A banking system that helps people buy and stay in their homes and invests in communities and businesses to create good jobs and strong neighborhoods.
- An end to megabank bailouts and financial institutions that are “too big to fail.”
- Meaningful limits on the political influence of the financial sector.
Internships available this summer:
- Communications: The communications intern will work with AFR Ed Fund communications director to support press and media strategies that lift up our campaigns fighting for a more just and stable economy, as well as for protecting consumers against Wall Street financial scams and discrimination.
- Campaigns: The campaigns intern will work with campaign managers of the payday and the Take on Wall Street campaigns. On payday issues, this intern will help advance a coalition defending consumer protections for borrowers of predatory loans. With the Take on Wall Street campaign, the intern will work on curving the predatory economic power of Wall Street banks and billionaires, and on building a financial system that works for the many, not the few.
- Administrative: This intern will help manage a non-profit organization, working with the COO and the Operations Manager to help maintain our systems, keep our accounting, help prepare grants applications and reports, and sustain our internal communications and organizational structures.
