"It is with great sadness that our family announces the death of Alberto Jose Farias, who passed away on Friday, October 9, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. after a sudden and unexpected battle with stage 4 pancreatic cancer, which had metastasized to his liver and lungs. He was 67 years old. Alberto was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend to many with the ability to make anyone laugh hysterically because of his quick wit and sense of humor. Please allow the family time and space to grieve this unexpected passing."

I know that many of you will want to express your sympathy. Mr. Gabe will be out today and tomorrow. If you would like to send a card for him or for Ms. Amparo, please drop it off at the school office and I will get it to them. Alberto was a larger than life character, as well as a devout Catholic. He will be missed. I know that the family would appreciate prayers said in honor of Alberto.
