Read, Run, and Have Fun Book Drive!
October 21-November 4, 2013
University of Chicago and Comer Children's Hospital
Read, Run, and Have Fun is a literacy advocacy project launched by the University of Chicago's Pediatric Residency Program in order to promote reading and physical activity to school aged children in the south side of Chicago, IL. The community surrounding the university's pediatric clinic consists of inner-city, low income families with low literacy rates and high rates of obesity. Please support RRHF's efforts by dropping off new or gently used children's books around the hospital or university's campus. Books can also be brought to room K155 at Comer Children's Hospital. Every book you donate will be given to a child at his or her visit to the doctor!
