Introduction
Have you ever wondered where toothpaste comes from or its ingredients? Today you’ll find out.
Farm
Toothpaste comes from chemicals, some of the main ingredients are, abrasives, aluminum
hydroxide, calcium carbonate, detergents, fluoride, 20% to 40% water depending on how much they need, and zamptom gum. They always measure the exact measurement.
Factory
All of those chemicals are mixed into one large container of powder, the powder gets boiled in a boiler and becomes a doughy material. After the boilers done, the toothpaste looks like a bunch of icing. Spatulas are used to scrape off any extra toothpaste. Then they add color to the paste, and chemists use oils to make the flavors. Chemists can recreate any flavors they want. Machines put the labels on the tubes. They have testers who test the toothpaste to make sure it’s ready to go. Then it’s shipped to the stores
Store
Once it arrives at the stores, it’s ready for people to use. There are a bunch of
different types of toothpaste, but the most popular flavor is peppermint. Toothpaste prevents cavities from making your teeth unhealthy. It also protects from decay and removes plaque.
